Trekkers meet at the Parkinson Activity Centre., 1700 Parkinson Way, at 9.00 AM unless otherwise indicated. Wear hardy hiking shoes or boots, and bring water, hiking sticks and suitable clothing for weather. Most hikes will be under 2 hours in length and a stop for refreshments will be noted. Please note, these hikes are not easy strolls as most participants come to get the exercise. There will be hills and a moderately fast pace, and hikes are subject to change as conditions change. Those wishing to meet at the hike start should phone the leader to get the exact location. For more information on any of the hikes call the leader.

March 7, 2018 The Ponds Upper Mission
. Meet at the PAC at 9:00 A.M. We will walk from Frost Road, just east of Gordon Drive. Directions to hike are Gordon Drive, left on Frost Road. Park just East of Gordon on Frost Road. Coffee will follow at Urban Fare in the Mission. The walk is easy / moderate, Approx. 1.5 hours. Call Ed Letkeman at 250-808-7869 for more information.

 Meet at PAC and carpool to Friends Pub, corner of Hwy. 97 and Boucherie Road. The walk will take through Lakeridge Park and up into Lakeview Heights, returning via Hayman Road. Easy walk with one steep downhill portion. This is a dog friendly walk. Approx 1hr 30 mins. Coffee afterwards at Tim Hortons, Okanagan Lake Shopping Centre (by Westside Rd & Hwy 97). March 21 2018 New hike !!!  Peachland/Lower Trepanier Creek hike
. Meet either at PSS at 9 am or at Beach Ave/13th Street in Peachland approx 9:30am.  Park on Beach Ave just east of Bliss Bakery.Hike will be approx an hour and 15 minutes.  One medium size Hill…mostly forest trails.Coffee at Bliss Bakery.  Leaders Ken and Deb Kitura 778-363-1950

:  This easy hike will start and finish at the PAC.   We will hike through the back streets and lanes of South Glenmore, passing through Jack Robertson’s park and circling Redlich Pond.  This is a dog friendly walk.  Approx 1hr 30 mins.  Coffee to follow at the PAC.  For more info, please call Martyn, 250-862-8753.
