DESCRIPTION:Wizard is a card game similar to Bridge that is gaining in popularity. It can be played with 4\, 5 or 6 people making it flexible for singles to drop in. Basic premise is that you bid for tricks at an auction and proceed to capture them via straight bidding with no conventions\, making it easier to pick up the game. Then you must defend your hand as well as try to get tricks because you need to capture the exact amount you bid or else get penalized if you have more or less than your bid. In Wizard there is also a Wizard Card that trumps the trump suit and a Joker Card that helps you defend your hand from taking more tricks. Typical game takes approx. 2-2.5 hrs.
