Trekkers meet at the Parkinson Activity Centre., 1700 Parkinson Way, at 9.00 AM ( unless otherwise indicated.) Wear hardy hiking shoes or boots, and bring water, hiking sticks and suitable clothing for weather. Most hikes will be under 2 hours in length and a stop for refreshments will be noted. Please note, these hikes are not easy strolls as most participants come to get the exercise. There will be hills and a moderately fast pace, and hikes are subject to change as conditions change. DECEMBER 19TH, 2018…. HIKE & CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON. Meet at the PAC at 9:00 a.m. and car pool to the Hall Road Subdivision. Hike will begin from Bonita’s home at 2622 O’Reilly Road. Directions: Proceed east on K.L.O. Rd., past the Mission Creek Golf Course, over the Mission Creek Bridge. Take your first road to your left which is HALL ROAD. Proceed on Hall and turn right onto Dunsmuir Rd. Turn left onto O’Reilly Rd. 2622 O’Reilly Road is the first house on your left. Please bring finger food, such as a hot or cold appetizer, and or a dessert. (Oven will be ready and waiting.) After you drop off your food, we will gather in the driveway, so please leave space. My husband, David, will be leading the hike through the Sutherland Hills Park, and the Greenway area of Mission Creek Regional Park. Hike will be approximately 1.5 hours. Please bring poles.
