Carpet Bowling is a precision sport distinguished by the use of a biased ball called a “bowl” which is deliberately lopsided so that it always curves towards the biased (heavier) side. The goal is to roll the bowls closer to a smaller white ball, called the jack, than one’s opponent is able to do. Here at the Parkinson Senior Centre our Carpet Bowlers have an absolutely fabulous time participating in their activity. The competition is as tough as you want to make it or you can just come out and enjoy the activity in the company of your peers. No pressure as having fun is what Carpet Bowling is all about.
Carpet Bowling takes place: Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at 10:15am and the drop in fee is $2.00
