Pilates Plus – Basic Stott Mat 1 exercises incorporating mini ball and band. Upgrade beginner Pilates to emulate Reformer style exercises. Proven strength and flexibility results.
“A 2018 study of 90 people published in the Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation found that participants who practiced Pilates for one hour three times a week for eight weeks improved their scores on a functional movement screen, which measures things like balance, stability, and mobility, more than people who did yoga instead (or who didn’t exercise at all).”
Although all are welcome – If you’re a first timer you may want to try the Beginners Stott Pilates class on Thursday from 1-2 pm first to see if it’s right for you. It is in the Gym.
